About the Journal

The Religious Education Journal (REJ) is an international, peer-reviewed journal established in 2025. Its aim is to publish high-quality international research in religious education.

The scope of the Religious Education Journal (REJ) encompasses all areas of research related to religious education across formal, non-formal and informal educational settings. Topics include, but are not limited to, the history, philosophy, policy, curriculum and pedagogy of religious education. The journal also welcomes studies on worldviews, values, ethics, intercultural and interfaith education. Contributions from researchers in any discipline whose work engages with religious education are encouraged.

The journal publishes articles in English. Authors are expected to write in clear, accessible language and adhere to accepted standards of academic English.
