Aims
The Religious Education Journal (REJ) is an international, peer-reviewed journal established in 2025. Its aim is to publish high-quality international research in religious education in all its forms, contexts, and traditions. It seeks to serve as an open access platform for the dissemination of global scholarship in religious education.
Scope
The scope of the Religious Education Journal (REJ) encompasses all areas of research related to religious education across formal, non-formal and informal educational settings. Topics include, but are not limited to, the history, philosophy, policy, curriculum and pedagogy of religious education. The journal also welcomes studies on worldviews, values, ethics, intercultural and interfaith education. Contributions from researchers in any discipline whose work engages with religious education are encouraged.
The journal publishes both qualitative and quantitative research studies, as well as review articles, in the field of religious education. The publication language of the journal is English.
