Call for Papers

The Religious Education Journal (REJ) invites submissions for upcoming issues. It is a peer-reviewed, international academic journal dedicated to the scholarly exploration of religious education in all its forms, contexts, and traditions.

The Religious Education Journal (REJ) welcomes original contributions that engage with the theory, practice, and policy of religious education across diverse settings—formal, non-formal, and informal. We encourage interdisciplinary approaches and submissions that address global, comparative, and context-specific perspectives.

Scope

Relevant areas include (but are not limited to):

• History and philosophy of religious education

• Curriculum and pedagogical approaches

• Religious education policy and reform

• Ethics, values, and worldview education

• Intercultural and interfaith education

• Empirical studies, case studies, and theoretical analyses

• Contributions from sociology, anthropology, theology, education, and related fields

Submission Guidelines

• Manuscripts must be submitted in English and written in clear, accessible academic language.

• All submissions will undergo double-blind peer review.

• Please ensure your manuscript adheres to the journal’s style and referencing requirements.
